Hello everyone,I've just read through the documentation for Connect applications and subscriptions. But one thing is not quite clear to me.An example: I create a Connect application that sends product data to a third party service every time a new product is released. So the application creates a subscription and uses AWS SQS as a queue.But when I eventually want to offer the Connect app on the marketplace and a customer installs the app, where does the AWS SQS come from or who hosts it? Is the idea that the customer does this themselves or that I, as the provider of the Connect application, also provide the required queue?Or am I making the wrong assumptions?Kind regardsTorben

Hi everyone, I recently checked the documentation on dynamic pages and the commercetools extension repository (https://github.com/FrontasticGmbH/extension-commercetools). There is one point I don’t understand right now: why does a dynamic page defines a data source, even though the dynamic page handler already loads the necessary data?For example the product details page. The dynamic page handler (https://github.com/FrontasticGmbH/extension-commercetools/blob/master/index.ts) uses the ProductApi in line 65 to retrieve the product data and add it to the response. Furthermore the schema for the dynamic page additionally defined the data source type “frontastic/product”, which loads the product data too in line 216 (https://github.com/FrontasticGmbH/extension-commercetools/blob/master/index.ts).So why is it necessary to load the data in the dynamic page handler and define a data source for the dynamic page too, which loads the same data? Hello!I have stumbled upon the fact that a Product Import will remove any values that are not included in the product definitions.For context, we are running a Product Draft import via import containers. All product data comes from various external systems. Recently we added a product attribute that needs to be handled via direct product import in the Merchant Center by the business users. As mentioned in the docs, this attribute is reset with every Product import that runs via the containers, because this particular value is not provided during that process.I am thinking of fetching these values ahead of the nightly product import, then including them in the draft definitions but my gut says there must be a better way, it’s just that I can’t think of any at the moment.Has anyone had this case before? Hey there, I’m currently planning our data model for an upcomig project and was wondering what good approaches to modelling modifiers/addons are. So requirements are basically this:We want to sell a dish that has some base ingredients you cannot take away (i.e. Pasta Bolognese) You should be able to choose certain things attached to it (for example pasta type: Spaghetti, Rigatoni etc.) You should be able to choose additional items, for example: Extra Cheese, More Sauce, Extra Meatballs, etc. (it’s pretty generic and makes more sense when you think about a bowl for example) My first thought was to model it with 2 different product types (Dish and Modifier/Addon). You would then add them all the to the cart and the line item would have a custom field to hold the reference to the “main” dish line item. But unfortunately that is not super clean already, but it’s also not allowed to have the same SKU in a cart in multiple line items.So I could have a big json field in a custom field to hold

Hi, Is there a option to store HighPrecisionMoney on Orders? Article has a HighPrecisionMoney but all the calculations on order/cart are rounded and stored as CentPrecisionMoney. Our use case is that we would need to export orders to external systems and we could have rounding issues when we reimport orders or need to sync them. Regards, Drazen

I’ve noticed that it offers various customization options and was wondering if it can be repurposed as an admin panel for sellers. I was telling a colleague about commercetools. It is in his nature to ask many questions which I was happy to answer from my experince with commercetools.However, there was one question I could not find an answer to: What programming language does commercetools use under the hood? What other technologies does it use?Of course, with API first that doesn’t really matter. It is however interesting to know!Side note: I then talked to another colleague who also uses commercetools - we noticed that even the common signs you get when using an API that hint towards a language (e.g. certain formatting in error messages) don’t exist in commercetools. Hi, I’m trying to do an CSV product import with the Merchant Center import functionality. I’m having issue with localised set attributes. I tried multiple combinations but I didn’t find a working example for localised set/text field. Attributes are defined as text, localised and set, e.g. “specifications” attribute. I tried the following:  attributes.specifications.en.*.key attributes.specifications.keyattributes.specifications.en.1.keyattributes.specifications.en.  Any help would be welcome. Regards, Drazen

Hello!Have you ever encountered that the extension runner in the Frontend solution is not available during Netlify build? And if so, how are you (consistently) getting over this issue?It used to happen from time to time and I would usually merge a dummy commit in the branch which would trigger a new build. In the past I’ve also had tests fail in the pipeline (Studio CI) but it wouldn’t show in the CI dashboard. This case would also make the Netlify build fail with the same reason, but this time it’s not the case because I can see my branch pipeline finished successfully.Also, interestingly enough, it’s only failing in one environment (staging). This time the extension is simply not accessible, but I’ve had cases where the version was not a match, or even the extension was responding but the short commit hash was undefined (it was still seen as a miss-match)   This time it’s quite stubborn because I’ve tried commits, new branches, rebases, manually triggering the build from Netlify, to

I want to create a simple custom graphql mutation but I am not sure about the steps. When I refer the internet, it is mentioned that we need to define the schema first then we can use the custom mutation. Also, it is mentioned, in merchant center, there is a Graphql settings where we can define the schema but i cannot see such settings in Merchant center.Can you please help me with the steps ?Thanks in Advance.

I can see Commercetools has version 1 and 2 of PHP SDK. I am new to Commercetools, so I choose version 2 SDK and installed the SDK using composer command as per https://docs.commercetools.com/sdk/php-sdk-getting-started#install-the-php-sdk but I can only see the Vendor folder however when I clone the github repository https://github.com/commercetools/commercetools-sdk-php-v2 I can see more files and folders. So I want to understand which one I should use for the start. Please guide. Thanks in Advance.

I am new to Commercetools and I created a free trial to explore it. Once I signed up for free trial, I got the access to Merchant Center and I installed the sunrise SPA demo data for testing. I placed one test order from SPA but in Merchant Center, I cannot see the order edit feature. Then I got to know from the below link that the order edit is not possible from Merchant Center and it can be through Custom Application. I have one question here, basically I am a PHP developer, and I saw there is a PHP SDK available in commercetools. Hi, Is it possible to enable order editing in the Merchant Center? The use case I am looking at here is that some of our orders require vetting - our Customer Service team opens an order and checks if the right part (we are in auto spare parts business) was selected by the customer. In case it does not the vehicle, they remove it and replace it with a different part (SKU).I am researching an option to have this use case handled in Merchant Center - any thoughts anyone?(for the sake of this discussion I would leave the payment element complexity)
