Hi, we would need to store some additional information that comes from an external system, some IDs that we would need to search later based on user input.We would have around 5 million entries that contain of 2 numbers (mapping) Could custom objects handle so big data set or is it better to have a dedicated DB for that? Hi, we implemented an import service using the Import API and the system that uses it would send the “masterVariant” flag. When a product variant is initially created, we get NewMasterVariantAdditionNotAllowed error. https://docs.commercetools.com/api/import-export/import-resources#productvariantimportI’m wondering how should we create the master variant then? Import without master variant flag and then run the import again to set the proper master variant? For me this is not very logical and friendly and gives the need for redundant operations (re-running the import with all attributes again) Regards, Drazen

Hi, I want to export product data to an external system. This means: Initially export all products of a given store to the external system After the initial export is finished, sync changes of product data to the external system using subscriptions I was wondering what the recommended way to do the initial full export is, especially with a large amount if products like ~100.000. Hello everyone,I've just read through the documentation for Connect applications and subscriptions. But one thing is not quite clear to me.An example: I create a Connect application that sends product data to a third party service every time a new product is released. So the application creates a subscription and uses AWS SQS as a queue.But when I eventually want to offer the Connect app on the marketplace and a customer installs the app, where does the AWS SQS come from or who hosts it? Is the idea that the customer does this themselves or that I, as the provider of the Connect application, also provide the required queue?Or am I making the wrong assumptions?Kind regardsTorben

Hi, you have recently added support for product level attributes, and this is very nice! My question is if there is a plan to do the same for assets?  Often in projects I see the need for this as there are common assets/images on product level and now we need to store them on master variant and this is not ideal because of several reasons in addition to complexity of the maintenance. Regards, Drazen

Hi everyone,  I want to fetch all the products (in order to collect all the SKUs). But there is an maximum offset value 10000 and limit is 500. So, the possible amount of products to be fetched via API is 10500. is there any way to overcome this? I want to fetch around 20K products (it might grow in the feature).Fetching based on categories is not working as expected. It ended up in lot of duplicate, limit issue.Note: Had the same issue with orders. But , fetching the orders based on the createdAt field solved the issue. Hi, on a project we have more than 500 attributes per product type and we built an importer using the Import API in Java. First time when we do the import it works but if we wanna re-run the import with some update it fails: Invalid inputThe update actions count of 533 exceeds the limit of 500.As we see, there is no “addAttribute” in the import API so we always need to provide all attributes but then we hit the limit on the update action. From our view this is very limited and not consistent when it works on initial run and update not. Regards, Drazen

Hi everyone, I recently checked the documentation on dynamic pages and the commercetools extension repository (https://github.com/FrontasticGmbH/extension-commercetools). There is one point I don’t understand right now: why does a dynamic page defines a data source, even though the dynamic page handler already loads the necessary data?For example the product details page. The dynamic page handler (https://github.com/FrontasticGmbH/extension-commercetools/blob/master/index.ts) uses the ProductApi in line 65 to retrieve the product data and add it to the response. Furthermore the schema for the dynamic page additionally defined the data source type “frontastic/product”, which loads the product data too in line 216 (https://github.com/FrontasticGmbH/extension-commercetools/blob/master/index.ts).So why is it necessary to load the data in the dynamic page handler and define a data source for the dynamic page too, which loads the same data? Hi, I’m trying do import products trough the Merchant Center CSV import and we had a file that was working a few weeks/months and now when I tried again the same file it is not working anymore.The reported error is useless as you can see from the screenshot. Product import error, Merchant CenterGuess there where some “under the hood changes” that destroy our old import file, and the logging is very bad for the Merchant Center import, for every case that fails it’s very hard to guess what’s wrong. Regards, Drazen

I recorded a short video about commercetools Checkout.The differences when it comes to full page checkout vs. payment only, PSP and giftcard integration and predicates to control which payment method is being displayed.It is not an official commercetools video just something a Solutions Engineer created.  

I haven’t been able to get an answer out of support or our partner contact, on where I can register a Frontend project as outlined in the docs: I have partner access to the Merchant Center, and the local Frontend SDK B2B setup, so I’m at the point where I need to get the API key and customer ID from Studio, but I can’t seem to find out where this registration process can be completed.Any help much appreciated!
