I want to understand that whether we can access the database of Commercetool project or not as If any customization I need to do in database level.
For example, If I need to add some custom fields for entity like products, customers or If I need to build the custom module with custom logic.
Please help me to understand this.

You can’t access our database, however, you can customise resources with custom fields or custom objects.
