Hi, I am able to successfully create a Connect application deployment using the API as described here: https://docs.commercetools.com/connect/deployments#create-deployment However, if I convert my connector to use automatically generated API client credentials (as described here: https://docs.commercetools.com/connect/modify-connector) then when I try and create a deployment I get a 403 Access denied error. Details I have an example open source connector that I created for another issue that I can use to demonstrate this issue: https://github.com/tcpl/commercetools-connector-undeploy-demo Tag 1.4.1 uses explicit API credentials and tag 1.5.1 uses auto generated API credentials. Hi, I’m trying do import products trough the Merchant Center CSV import and we had a file that was working a few weeks/months and now when I tried again the same file it is not working anymore. The reported error is useless as you can see from the screenshot. Product import error, Merchant Center Guess there where some “under the hood changes” that destroy our old import file, and the logging is very bad for the Merchant Center import, for every case that fails it’s very hard to guess what’s wrong. I haven’t been able to get an answer out of support or our partner contact, on where I can register a Frontend project as outlined in the docs: I have partner access to the Merchant Center, and the local Frontend SDK B2B setup, so I’m at the point where I need to get the API key and customer ID from Studio, but I can’t seem to find out where this registration process can be completed. Any help much appreciated!

I did a Learning Check on this learning module: https://docs.commercetools.com/learning-model-your-business-structure/model-your-business/learning-check I’d like to ask about this question: The correct answer is 2nd option: by using Zone to group specific regions. But when I tried to create a Zone, there is no way to specify region for it - only able to select country, do I miss anything here? It would be great if you can help. Thanks.

Hello! I have stumbled upon the fact that a Product Import will remove any values that are not included in the product definitions. For context, we are running a Product Draft import via import containers. All product data comes from various external systems. Recently we added a product attribute that needs to be handled via direct product import in the Merchant Center by the business users. As mentioned in the docs, this attribute is reset with every Product import that runs via the containers, because this particular value is not provided during that process. I am thinking of fetching these values ahead of the nightly product import, then including them in the draft definitions but my gut says there must be a better way, it’s just that I can’t think of any at the moment. Has anyone had this case before? How did you solved it? Best regards,Alex

Two major approaches include creating an API Extension or putting a new microservice in front of the commercetools API. It’s often confusing on when to use each approach. Hey there, I’m currently planning our data model for an upcomig project and was wondering what good approaches to modelling modifiers/addons are. So requirements are basically this: We want to sell a dish that has some base ingredients you cannot take away (i.e. Pasta Bolognese) You should be able to choose certain things attached to it (for example pasta type: Spaghetti, Rigatoni etc.) You should be able to choose additional items, for example: Extra Cheese, More Sauce, Extra Meatballs, etc. (it’s pretty generic and makes more sense when you think about a bowl for example) My first thought was to model it with 2 different product types (Dish and Modifier/Addon). You would then add them all the to the cart and the line item would have a custom field to hold the reference to the “main” dish line item. But unfortunately that is not super clean already, but it’s also not allowed to have the same SKU in a cart in multiple line items. So I could have a big json field in a custom field to ho

Hi, Is there a option to store HighPrecisionMoney on Orders? Article has a HighPrecisionMoney but all the calculations on order/cart are rounded and stored as CentPrecisionMoney. Our use case is that we would need to export orders to external systems and we could have rounding issues when we reimport orders or need to sync them. Regards, Drazen

I am unable to Connect Studio to the Merchant Center. I am getting an error “The Data Source you've registered doesn't match any registered extensions.” I believe that this being caused by the backend/commerce-commercetools not being in place. I have done a clean build and uploaded, but I am still getting the error.

Hi everyone, we are currently looking at implementing tracing with OpenTelemtry. There is some documentation regarding doing this with OpenTelemetry: https://docs.commercetools.com/sdk/observability/opentelemetry Sadly, it is not clearly stated what’s even possible and/or implemented. Are requests fully e2e traceable? Example: If our backend sends a trace ID and we receive a callback later, will that callback contain the trace ID? Is W3C as standard used? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I’m exploring commercetools to build a B2B eCommerce platform for a client and have a question regarding the Merchant Center. I’ve noticed that it offers various customization options and was wondering if it can be repurposed as an admin panel for sellers. Specifically, I’d like to know: Can the Merchant Center be customized for individual sellers to manage their products and orders? If so, is it possible to brand the admin panel with the seller's logo, color scheme, and other brand elements? Looking forward to any insights or recommendations on this! Thanks in advance!

We have orders search functionality - by using query to filter our particular orders. https://docs.commercetools.com/api/predicates/query Every time we are adding new search params (typically custom fields) we have timeout error once we use them, after some time search optimization dynamic index is added side timeout issues are gone, search works fast without problems For the last added search param index creation is taken more time: According to CT documentation it should take up to 2 weeks: From our previous experience it was couple of days, now it is more that 2 weeks already but we still have timeout issue and I am not sure what we can do to understand when it will.be optimized. This is the custom field search, nothing complicated and nothing different from the other custom fields except name custom(fields(motoReferenceId="{value}"))

I'm creating an import CSV file for assets for Merchant Center import functionality and it works until I add tags to the import (variants.assets.tags). Hi, I’m trying to do an CSV product import with the Merchant Center import functionality. I’m having issue with localised set attributes. I tried multiple combinations but I didn’t find a working example for localised set/text field. Attributes are defined as text, localised and set, e.g. “specifications” attribute. I tried the following: attributes.specifications.en.*.key attributes.specifications.key attributes.specifications.en.1.key attributes.specifications.en. Any help would be welcome. Regards, Drazen
