Hello everybody!

Well, the holiday season is officially here, the end of 2024 is fast approaching (yeah, I know it’s a cliché, but where has time gone? I swear it was spring two weeks ago 😯).

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to all our American community members! Hope you have a great day filled with joy, many things to be grateful, nice quality time with friends and family and plenty of turkey.

Do you have any special traditions? Are you watching the Macy’s parade? Do you make any special dishes to celebrate? A friend of mine invited me for Thanksgiving dinner two years ago and he made the BEST sweet potato casserole with marshmallows and oh my, it was delicious!

By the way, if you are not American, you might not be familiar with the parade, so I found this video quite interesting:

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m a Brit so not celebrating, but I have had the pleasure of joining other families’ Thanksgiving celebrations in the past.

I remember with fondness a dish called ‘dressing’ that goes with the turkey. Which seemed v similar to what we’d call ‘stuffing’. Both are bread/herb/meat combos that you cook next to the turkey.

Very tasty! 😋

…. and to add. What I’m most grateful for. I would have to say good health.

The “dressing” sounds amazing! 2024 has been a challenging year for me, but I am definitely grateful for my health as well. And coffee. Always grateful for coffee. co
