Hi everyone
As we begin a New Year it's a nice time to introduce a new feature to our lovely community.
Called the 'community spotlight', it's going to be a regular series to find out a little bit more about who we are, what we like, and maybe what we don't like!
It can include commercetoolers, customers, and partners!
We'll kick off in January with commercetooler Josh Douglas. Read on to find out why you might mistake him for a rodeo clown listening to Deep Purple while eating eggs on the beach..…
What do you do at/with commercetools?
I am the Program Manager for our global Customer Success team. I work on numerous initiatives to maximize the value our team is able to create with our customers as we engage with them throughout their commercetools journey.
Where are you from, where do you live now?
I grew up and started our family in Texas, and we later moved to Florida to experience beach life!
What did you have for breakfast this morning?
One of the great perks of living in a touristy beach town is a surplus of breakfast restaurants. Eggs, bacon and pancakes are a great way to start the day.
What are you currently reading, watching and listening to?
I'm currently at the mercy of whatever Prog Rock rabbit hole Apple Music takes me down next and eagerly awaiting the second season of Severance.
What’s your favorite use of technology?
Using AI to pre-answer questions like this one, only to change all of its output because it thinks I'm a rodeo clown in Tanzania. But, hey, the formatting was great!
What’s your top tip for using commercetools?
My top tip for using commercetools is to continually innovate: big or small, customer-facing or perhaps just internal supportability improvements. One of the major benefits of commercetools is our flexibility to support your innovative ideas, unlike other solutions where change is often inhibited. Don't let that unique value go unrealized!
If you'd like to take part in the Community spotlight series, or you'd like to nominate a fellow community member, post in the replies below or send me a message!
