From my experience, the main factor is cost, Commercetools isn’t cheap compared to other saas platforms.

Thanks for raising this question. We operate as a hybrid company but prioritize hiring within our hub locations. While we do have a number of customers in France, we don’t currently have a hub there, which make local job opportunities limited.  When it comes to adoption, there are always a variety of factors at play in any region (i.e. things like overall digital maturity, the presence of implementation partners). In France, adoption continues to grow, but the pace can differ from other markets where we’ve had a longer or stronger partner presence.  Appreciate your interest and experience with commercetools.
