Hi commercetools Community! 

Happy to see so many people eager to share and learn from each other. 

I work as a sales executive in the Norwegian market for commerce related businesses. I work with all of Avensia´s offering, including PIM/MDM, CRM/Loyalty, Strategy/advisory and UX, and by doing so we get in touch with many different prospects and clients and i would say i have a wide knowledge and is a generalist.

I work for a commerce expert company called Avensia, which is a Swedish based company, but i belong to the Norwegian office. We deliver services and products to companies determined to be winners in modern commerce.

We have worked with commercetools since 2019 and have delivered 12+ MACH based commerce projects with partners like Contentful, Voyado, Inriver, Syndigo, Bluestone, Occtoo, Fluent, Inretrn and many more.

Avensia was early in developing an accelerator approach for commerce projects and have a unique framework called Avensia Excite which all of our commerce projects are delivered on. Its not only a accelerator for kicking off projects and reducing risk, but its a full blown product delivering great commerce experience and extreme performance and stability to our customers. It is mainly focused around B2C at the moment, but we are working on building out our B2B offering with some new clients which we have onboarded. 

Avensia is all about building top commerce experiences and by working together with commercetools we really excel in doing this for our customers.

I have been involved in building software solutions since 2001, have more than 16 years of experience in building ecommerce applications on various platforms - Oracle Commerce (ATG+Endeca), Apache Ofbiz, Oracle Commerce Cloud, Commercetools. Actively involved in implementing commerce applications on commercetools since 2021. 

What brings you to the Community? 

I have joined this community to try and understand how others across the world are using the platform and to gather best practices for future implementations. Also to try and share some of my experiences doing multiple implementations on the platform

Hello everyone! 

I am Stefan Vermeulen and work as an independent digital commerce consultant / project manager for a range of companies mainly in Belgium. Typically I help companies search for a new solution and I guide replatforming projects. I come across many systems, including commercetools.

I think my strength is in finding the true requirements within companies, helping them with a commercial angle and finally getting the job done implementing it. I speak marketing, sales and tech. 

I am Dutch (but living in Belgium), have a 10-years-old-son and our family also includes a 24- and 29-years-old.. (I did not produce these :-D) and a granddaughter of 3. I love to sport.. but currently I’m a bit a laggard in that field.

I’m Alex and I work at foryouandyourcustomers out of the Amsterdam cell in The Netherlands. Here I apply my skills as a backend software developer to our commerce solutions.

At the moment I am involved in my 3rd commercetools project, this time with the added functionality of the Frontend part. 

I joined this community so that I can see how others are experiencing working with commercetools as a platform as well as having another channel to ask questions or maybe discover interesting bits of information. I would also be thrilled if, with time, I make a connection or two :)

One interesting factoid about myself is that I used to work on Mainframes and one even more obscure platform which is OpenVMS.
